About Simon Hart

Simon Hart is the Executive Chair and international lead at Ó×Å®ÊÓƵ. HeÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s also a Harvard Business School Ó×Å®ÊÓƵ˜Leading Professional services firmsÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™ alumnus, and a keen road cyclist.

SimonÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s role involves working with the Ó×Å®ÊÓƵ International network of firms on global initiatives, helping to enhance the support and services we provide to clients who want to expand internationally. He sits on the Ó×Å®ÊÓƵ International Board, the $9bn global network.

This international focus led Simon to collaborate with Ó×Å®ÊÓƵ US Chief Economist, Joe Brusuelas. The pair have taken their global economy roadshow all over the UK, Europe, and North America, advising middle-market businesses on trade issues, risks, economics and trends, and in 2021 initiated The Real Economy project, Ó×Å®ÊÓƵÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s economic research into the UKÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s middle market.

Ask Simon to describe his working style and heÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™d say collegiate. In his own words:

"My default approach to problem solving is teamwork, making sure everyone is engaged and heard and that we're constantly sharing ideas. ItÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s a challenge, and I like challenges."

And that love for a challenge doesnÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™t stop at work. SimonÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s a keen road cyclist and charity fundraiser who often combines the two to great effect. His nine-day, 1,000-mile LandÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s End to John OÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™Groats cycle raised £18,000 for two childrenÓ×Å®ÊÓƵ™s hospices.
